Isomo Selects Second Cohort of 100 IRIS Scholars

Isomo welcomed the newest cohort of 100 students to the joint Ikaze Refugee Impact Scholarship (IRIS) Program, in partnership with Agahozo Shalom Youth Village and the Shapiro Foundation. Coming from five refugee camps, these students are now enrolled in 22 of the country’s top boarding high schools.

With more than 50,000 school-aged refugees living in Rwanda, IRIS is building a high-impact pathway that expands access to university and meaningful career opportunities—equipping students to become leaders and changemakers who can contribute to the long-term well-being of their communities.
