This June, Isomo commissioned its third cohort of 80 Isomo Academy Scholars at the Marriott Hotel in Kigali. The event brought together Scholars, partners, ministers, parents, Fellows, and friends for an exciting day filled with speeches from scholars, parents, and B2R Founder & CEO, Dale Dawson, as well as cultural performances of Ibihangange and Indindamakuza. After completing Isomo’s intensive bootcamps, these students are preparing to begin their next chapters at universities around the world.
A very special thank you to our keynote speaker and distinguished alumnus, Major Jackson Karama, a member of the first cohort of B2R Scholars. Following his studies at the US Coast Guard Academy, Major Karama returned to Rwanda to serve his country under the Ministry of Defense and stands as a powerful example of the values we seek to cultivate in our Scholars. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and support our Scholars!
